My name is Mike and I am a CFA Charterholder originally from Ireland

but currently traveling around the world, working as an investment consultant for a family office.

I created The Island Investor to offer a simplified, common-sense approach to markets, personal finance and investing. 

I’m not flogging some financial product here. Everything you see is cost and spam free. I simply use writing as a way to clarify my thoughts on the markets and hopefully I can help some people along the way.
